The Academic Foundation Programme (AFP) is a prestigious first postgraduate posting for medical students and the competition is intense. The Codex Project is a collaboration of academics who are re-defining academic textbooks. Each Codex is designed to answer a highly focused question and is about the length of one or two conventional textbook chapters - about 5000 to 10 000 words.
