Summer Reading

Welcome to summer reading for 12th grade College/Honors English! 

Hamlet is required for all students, and you may choose between The Count of Monte Cristo and Pride and Prejudice for your second reading. This should offer a variety of high interest reading for the summer and promote an appreciation for different writing styles. In addition to the required assignments, students should expect to discuss and write about these pieces of literature during the first weeks of school.  If you downloaded this iBook from iTunes, look for the interactive reviews at the end of Hamlet, and after every 10 chapters for the novels.  Also, take advantage of the built-in dictionary and notes/ highlight feature.
