Publisher Description
Superbugs are bacteria that have evolved resistance to the antibiotics once used to treat the infections they caused. While they are of increasing concern to medicine, these microbes may be susceptible to antibiotics and related compounds containing selenium. The aim of this PhD research is to synthesise some selenium containing antibiotics via the still somewhat untamed discipline that is free radical chemistry. ANTIBIOTICS
