Publisher Description
Newly divorced Polly Morgan needs a vacation, and she's hoping some extra time in the oceanside town of Indigo Bay before her friend’s wedding will do the trick.
But she doesn’t expect to have to save the entire event alongside the man she measures all kisses against—her first love, Nick Wylder.
Nick hasn’t seen Polly in almost two decades, but that doesn’t mean he’s stopped thinking about her. He’s pretty sure she feels the power of their rekindled love too, and he’s ready to make a move. To his Texas ranch, to her home in Canada—anywhere as long as she’s there.
But what will he do when his fast moves send Polly running? Can these two exes overcome their past and claim their second chance at love?

A delightful second chance romance
Sweet Troublemaker is the first in a New Indigo Bay series. It is a delightful stand-alone but some characters have appeared in other Indigo Bay books, including Polly.
Polly and Nick dated twenty years ago when they were teenagers but they went their separate ways. They never forgot each other and a friends wedding offers them a second chance to make their relationship work. If only it was that easy… but unfortunately twenty years of baggage gets in the way.
This is a well written romance with some fabulous characters and a great second chance storyline. It’s always a joy to visit Indigo bay and this is no exception. I really enjoyed this book and definitely recommend it to all romance fans.
A Great Beach Read!
I really enjoyed this book by Jean Oram. I have read many of her books, including the Summer Sisters and it’s nice to see Polly, who was mentioned in that series, getting her own story. It was also nice to catch up briefly with Daphne Summer. I enjoyed reading Polly and Nick’s story, they had met in Indigo Bay when they were teenagers and there had been an attraction between them but when they bumped into one another unexpectedly in their thirties, they each thought the other wasn’t right for them any more. Fortunately working together to organise a wedding for Roy and Sophia gave them time to realise that they could and should take a chance on love. Another great read by Jean Oram.
Sweet Troublemaker
I received this book in return for a review. From the beginning the way the story unfolded guaranteed you wanted to keep reading. Polly wanted to find herself and her purpose in life after getting divorced and was wary of making mistakes again in another relationship. Nick was forced to take a good look at his life after being pushed from his uncle’s ranch to find himself.
Meeting again after being teenage sweethearts and being tasked last minute with sorting the arrangements for his uncle’s wedding gave Polly and Nick the chance to reconnect and build on their teenage romance. Jean Oram has written another happy ever after, blockbuster of a story and I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book, thank you Jean.
