Great!
I've worked in the games industry for 25 years. This is a really well written book, explaining many non-technical aspects of game design which verge on marketing (this is a good thing!). Having worked on non-mobile platforms, I found this book really got me up to speed with understanding expectations and "standards" which already exist in this arena (and that I would be foolish to ignore!).
This isn't going to tell you how to program a game. So, if that's what you want, look elsewhere. However, even if you already have the perfect idea for the game that will make you millions, I'd recommend spending a few pounds on this book, just to make sure you've ticked the right boxes.
