Customer Reviews
Not a good buy
I don't usual review e-books... but this one annoyed me so much.
I quite liked the first secret footballer book, there were genuinely interesting stories in there.
I applaud the author for writing about his mental health in such a candid way. However, there ends the positives...
However the book overall reads in a disjointed way with a serious helping of bitterness thrown in. The chapters (themes?) jump around all over the place and I found it hard to understand what the point of many chapters were.
In my opinion this is a waste of £4.
Do not buy
A dreadful book with almost nothing about football that the reader would find interesting.
This book is all about the secret footballer in quite some detail. This might have some interest if we knew who this is or if it was related to actual football rather than pages and pages about his depression and how he felt.
A very confusing read that did not deserve the hard earned money paid. Sadly another follow up book that must be regarded as a bit of a rip off
