A little Scottish haggis riding a horse

I quite like this little book. It's a retelling of Burns' Tam O'Shanter but they've replaced old Tam with a haggis and sent him off on his spooky adventure. It's quite a cute wee thing.

What a sweet children's book!

This really is a sweet children's book. Having been to a few Burns' Suppers, but not being Scottish myself, I have heard Tam O'Shanter recitations before, and have struggled to understand it all. This book is wonderful as it tells the story for children (allowing even me to understand it as well). And it is beautifully illustrated too.
