A runaway who doesn't want to be found, she only wants to return to the man who understands her and offers her warmth, comfort, a home. He gives her shelter. Just as he gives shelter to the other lost girls who live in his house.
D.I. Marnie Rome thinks that she knows families, their secrets and their fault lines. But as she begins investigating the girl's disappearance nothing can prepare her for what she's about to face.

I liked it.
For me, not as good as the first two books. But still a great read, with a twist that had me saying "whhaaaaaat!) I even suspected Sol! I like that it kept me guessing.
Tastes like fear
Great book, brilliant writer! Has lots of intrigue, suspense and exciting twists to keep you guessing until the end.
Gripping story line
The DI Rome series is very well written and each story line grips you straight from the start. I was hard pressed to put the books down. I am hoping for a fourth in the series.
