Tei's New Year's Resolutions Include Continuing Focus on Tax Advocacy (Tax Executives Institute‪)‬

Tax Executives Institute started 2010 where it left off in the prior year--continuing its strong advocacy efforts through comment letters and amicus briefs. TEI's advocacy efforts in December and January reached all levels of government including comments on transfer pricing rules proposed by Paris-based Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, a critique of certain tax compliance provisions in proposed U.S. health care legislation, and releasing minutes of a liaison meeting with state tax officials. TEl Opposes Government Efforts to Obtain Tax Accrual Workpapers
