Publisher Description
“Perfectly written, hits all the beats... It was a real pleasure to read.” Jen Prokop, the Fated Mates Podcast
Tom Castle didn’t mean to fall in love with his best friend’s girl. It just kinda…happened. Then her relationship imploded, she blamed Tom, and they parted as enemies. Although it took years, he managed to move on without her.
Mostly.
But that's definitely Finn Carey glaring at him from the other side of the apartment where they’ve both taken shelter during a nasty Chicago blizzard. Unfortunately for Tom, Finn’s more beautiful than ever—and still too angry to look him in the eyes.
She's still furious with me. I destroyed her trust.
Tom does his best to ignore the rush of feelings from being near her again, but after the storm knocks out the power and they’re forced to share a bed—you know, for body heat—he finds himself in a race against the snowplows to convince Finn that one night together will never be enough.
Tempting Heat is a spicy standalone romance featuring survival cuddling, a shouted mid-argument confession of love, and only one bed. It's a hot, hilarious introduction to Sara Whitney's award-winning Cinnamon Roll Alphas series. While Tempting Heat is a novella, the rest of the books in the series are full-length novels.

Snowed in to repair the past
This was a great snowed on story that allowed the two protagonists to deal with their past misunderstandings and feelings for each other in a way that draws the reader in and routes for their happy ending.
Whilst simultaneously wanting to know the side character stories like Josie, Richard or Jake and given that this was a short story this shows you the skill of the writer.
Get comfy with some crazy coloured socks and enjoy reading this book like I did.
Eight years of blaming the wrong guy.
Loved it. High school friends that fell out due to misunderstanding but years later get a second chance. It was funny, sweet and steamy. Tom is the dream man.
