This is a great book and so easy to read. Its encouraging and inspiring. Have started the 5:2 diet and love it.

Inspirational reading

Being a constant dieter my entire life, I'm always careful about what I eat to maintain I don't let the weight creep on. This book outlines everything we secretly know but often gloss over! However, alongside that, the actual science on fasting is really interesting and does make sense! I read this book in between shifts on a busy work day as it was so informative and I wanted to grasp the entire "fasting" concept. Well done to Kate for showing us we can still have a life and enjoy ourselves whilst maintaining or losing weight. Any one who has followed every diet on this earth, like myself, will appreciate this book no end. The style is very easy to understand but full of info, recipes and humour also! I hope the lifestyle works for me

Pretty poor

I have been doing the 5:2 diet for a while with success I wanted the book for recipes and pointers and to be honest you get nether... Author has a good sense of humour but I didn't want to know about her I wanted help and guidance but if a beginner then this book would be a good start for me was a waste of money :(
