The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Publisher Description
An Apple Books Classic
You get not one, not two, but 25 gripping mysteries in Arthur Conan Doyle’s first of five collections of Sherlock Holmes short stories. Follow the brilliant and eccentric Holmes and his loyal sidekick, Dr. Watson, as they journey to lavish country estates to investigate baffling cases involving indiscreet royal affairs, cheetahs, redheads, and gypsies. Every one of Conan Doyle’s tales is full of surprising - but always logical - twists. (Fun fact: This book includes “The Speckled Band,” the author’s self-proclaimed favorite of all of his Sherlock Holmes short stories.)

Great book
Very interesting book and reading chapter after chapter you don't wanna stop.
Victorian fiction at it's best
Ideal Victorian fiction for a commute or a cup of coffee. Each well crafted 20 minute stories will transfer you to 19th century smoky London, steam trains, and open fires where imaginary villainy is untwined by the acute perception and cold reasoning of Sherlock Holmes. The stories are tightly plotted and mix the exotic with the mundane. Holmes himself is a marvellous creation, a sallow, moody loner operating at the fringes of the police force, part drug addict, part scientist, and described wonderfully by his Everyman friend and our narrator, doctor Watson.
