Publisher Description
For Nick Potterton, high-flying London journalist who has moved to the Cumbrian countryside, Davie Peters’ death should be just another story to cover. But the longer he investigates, the more disturbing questions he has to answer. Was the death as accidental as it seemed? Or is somebody hiding the full story of what happened at the Bad Step?
The Lake District fells are so beautiful when the weather is fine. But it was a day of ferocious weather which faced the hardy fell-runners tacking the classic Bowfell race, a day which was to end with a macabre discovery at the foot of the notorious, rocky cliff called the Bad Step.
Andrew Bibby has written several books on walking and the outdoors, is a professional writer and journalist, a regular contributor to British national newspapers - and a fell runner.
Customer Reviews
Enjoyable lakeland mystery
Bought this book, cheaply, after a favourable review in 'The Fellrunner'. I liked it, it soon draws you in with it's pretty accurate representation of the small fell running community merging with a half decent plot.
A good buy with donation to Mountain Rescue. Recommended read.
