The Beginning

Sometimes a curse can be quelled with spells of protection. Yet a curse born that of demons is a force few reckon with. Katherine deRion has known such horrors.

All was well on a routine hunting trip with her elder brothers when Katherine brought the wrath of the wolves upon their family. For every wolf slain; a member of her family shall die as well.

Born into the world of 16th century England where witches were burned and heretics persecuted because of their beliefs; Katherine's only hope for solace and survival lies in the hands of an old gypsy woman.
