A great read
Although the character of Merrick’s would be assassin was not evil, manic or crazed enough to be thoroughly convincing and his mishaps comic not terrifying, this was a great read. Pretty much captivating from start to finish. I’ve now read most of the Jonas Merrick books and each is better than the last.
