An Amazing, Intriguing Read
I love Natalie Wrye’s Manhattan Nights Novels and The Bet for me was one of the best of the series. A well written storyline with lots of intrigue, angst, with believable characters and of course all the love and hot sexy scenes, there is always a touch of humour that does make you lol too, that this author sneaks in to the stories so well! I personally recommend this as a great read for the end of 2018!
Heath and Violet have this love hate relationship throughout this amazing read that has you rooting for them from the outset! Violet hates Heath with a passion little does she know he will be her new boss! But watch out for the sleazy David King! Will Heaths’ bet and gambling habit be his downfall? Will Heath be able to step up to the plate in the family business? Violet is drawn to David King her perfect lawyer she wants to emulate! Violet is dedicated to the extreme as a lawyer and junior partner at King & Sparrow will She ever have what she really wants in her life now that she has her divorce from her cheating husband with her best friend?
