Publisher Description
Growing up in Stepney in London after the war was not easy, but the sense of community was as strong as could be. Daughter of a market trader, Linda’s mother had a stall at the Roman Road market and her father was a docker. Linda’s upbringing was working class, humble and typically East End.
As she grew up with the area, Linda learned to socialise with the local residents, some of whom found fame as armed robbers – notably the Krays, Ronnie Cook, Freddie Forman and the like.
In 1990 Linda went to prison for 18 and a half years, becoming Britain’s longest serving female prisoner, moving to 14 different prisons during her time inside. She shared a prison with Rose West and Myra Hindley. Since her release she has led a quiet, low-key life marrying a local businessman called George. Sadly George too is now dead…
Linda became involved in capers herself and in this book she will cover the whole truth. The time is right, and with a lot of her ‘associates’ now dead it’s finally a safe time to tell all.

Gripping
What a life she’s lead. Interesting
Very good
I can’t decide if this is a true story or just a story if it is true then Linda led a very unusual life and she survived a lot of crap. I have nothing but admiration for her she’s a true survivor and I thoroughly enjoyed her book
Epic read
One of the best books I’ve read in a while. A real page Turner!
