There are a few clues: a frame of microfilm surgically implanted beneath the skin of his hip; evidence that plastic surgery has altered his face; strange things he says in his delirium, which could be code words. And a number on the film negative that leads to a bank account in Zurich, four million dollars and a name for the amnesiac: Jason Bourne.
Now he is running for his life. A man with an unknown past and an uncertain future, the target of assassins and at the heart of a deadly puzzle. He's fighting for survival and no one can help him - except the one woman who once wanted to escape him ...

Not like the film
As you may have heard this book is nothing like the film starring Matt Damon. While it has similarities it’s almost a completely different story. You do have to stretch your imagination a bit with the Marie character and the Jason and Marie relationship. As I can’t possibly imagine them falling in love in such a short space of time especially with how Jason treated her at first and her subsequent attack. Though I’m in my 30s and still can’t understand how women think so I’m probably wrong, a woman might fall in love after all she’s been through in a short space of time. The book does tend to drag on a bit towards the end and the climax with Carlos was anti climatic but overall it’s still a good read, just don’t come into it expecting it to be like the film.
Awesome!
Amazing so far, 3/4 way through, so thrilling and gripping can't wait to move on to the next one...
