Publisher Description

I tried to protect my sister—and now I'll die because of it.

In the wilderness of western France, I'm forced to work in a labor camp. It's winter. It's cold. It's miserable.

There's only one good thing about this place.

He's one of the guards—and he might just be my way out of here.

Because every time the wind picks up, I hear it.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

The bells of freedom.

The bells from the Chateau.

My way out of this place.

The Chateau

Wow what a story by Penelope Sky! Could not put it down. Great read with very complex characters that are so well written, it really makes you feel emotional and captures your mind and heart. Would definitely recommend despite the price, it is worth the investment.

This is a Must READ.... Addictive and dark

Where do I start..... From the first page with the prelogue I was already sucked in. This isn’t a normal Penelope Sky book, this had me gripped from the first page. Raven is the older sister and studying in Paris and her younger sister comes to stay with her and being the protective older sister Raven is still looking out for Melanie, even when Melanie follows these guys, Raven can’t leave her be and goes with her.
This is when they are taken. When Raven meets Magnus, can Magnus be Raven’s protector, is there something there?
You really need to read this book, it isn’t for the faint hearted, I couldn’t put it down and had to read it in 1 sitting.
I don’t know how I can wait til January for The Camp the continuation.......
