APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
The Maple Sugar Inn is the idyllic festive setting at the heart of this comforting Christmas romance. A gorgeous guest house tucked away amongst enchanting snow-covered mountains in Vermont, the Maple Sugar Inn is the ideal destination for college best friends Erica, Claudia and Anna to reunite and host their annual book club. But when Erica reveals her secret connection with Hattie, the Inn’s recently widowed owner, this year’s winter girls trip takes an unexpected turn. A Christmas Book Club is the perfect heartwarming, cosy romance that tenderly captures the subtleties of Annie, Claudia and Erica’s enduring friendship. Prepare to be left longing for your very own winter getaway.
Absolutely love this book, I couldn’t put it down such a heartfelt Christmassy story, Sarah Morgan at her best, I hope there is a sequel as I would love to know more the future of the characters x
A Snowy Vermont Inn with Christmassy Vibes
A delightful story involving the lives of four women and bonds of friendship and family. Three long term friends come together in December, mere weeks before Christmas for their annual book club getaway. Approaching forty the week is a catalyst for change for all three of them, along with the Inn’s owner who is struggling in the wake of her husband’s death. I really enjoyed the story, though the formatting issues in my advanced copy were tiresome.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
