Laugh out loud

This book absolutely made me laugh out loud. This writer so gets why children are funny and the characters are created with such warmth. Going to zoom through the rest of the series I’m sure!

Really nice read.

Lovely book for a nice cheery read. Nice imagery of Cornwall which took me back to childhood holidays spent on the coast. Really liked the characters and would love to see them on screen!

Avoid

The writing is just awful, the characters unlikeable, they’re impossible to relate to, and the storyline one dimensional at most. Wouldn’t bother, even if it is free!
