Customer Reviews
An intriguing plot.
If this book were made into a film, I’d definitely watch it but from behind the safety of the sofa.
The prologue is an attention grabber when a passenger on a cruise ship meets a grizzly end. Electricity and water don't mix. His murder remained a mystery, the significance of his death only revealed in the final chapter.
On New Year's Eve, a member of the entertainment staff of the cruise liner Immanis disappears, presumably missing overboard. Did she jump or was she pushed?
When the cruise finishes two weeks later, 6,000 passengers and the majority of the 2,000 crew disembark, leaving behind a skeleton staff of 100 whilst the ship is out of service. More deaths and disappearances occur, far from land no-one can escape.
The multiple POVs and many timelines are clear but any reader who considers themselves an amateur sleuth will need to concentrate to pick up the clues.
Excellent reading and recommended.
