Lionel Hesse, a nerdy mathematician at a local university,  has no idea how he ended up on the floor next to his dead wife's body, bleeding profusely from a knife wound to the gut. With amnesia covering a two and a half year period, and now accused of her murder and on the run, he has to find a way to prove his innocence before time runs out.  

Pursued by a ruthless and unknown enemy, he finds himself in the ultimate fight for survival, justice and revenge.
