The Devil in the Details - The Lucky 13 Series Book Two

With Alex gone, Maddie is left wondering about the lingering details following the Montgomery-Lewis case. In an attempt to find out more about her connection with Daniel Lewis, she ends up befriending the one person she should probably keep her distance from, Daniel's younger brother Angus Sheppard. Angus is just as mysterious as all the other new people Maddie has met over the past few months, but he has plenty of details that could Maddie put together the pieces of this confusing puzzle her life has become.

In the meantime, Alex is on a mission of his own as he teams back up with the members of the Brotherhood for a meeting with their former bosses. The Lucky 13 is just as chaotic as they were before they left the Academy and willing to do whatever it takes to keep everyone alive.
