Don't miss Blake and Victoria's story, a steamy opposites attract romantic suspense from USA Today bestselling author Morgan James.
Ten years ago, Victoria escaped a nightmare.
Abducted by a sadistic killer and forced to watch her best friend die, she survived by doing the impossible—outsmarting the man hunting her. She disappeared without a trace, buried her past beneath a new identity, and spent the last decade believing distance could keep her safe.
She was wrong.
A late-night phone call shatters the life she's worked so hard to build. He's found her. And when another young woman is murdered, Victoria realizes the killer she escaped has never stopped hunting her.
With nowhere left to turn, she finds herself relying on bodyguard Blake Lawson—the one man she never expected to trust with her life... or her heart. As the hunt for a killer grows more desperate, the line between protection and something far more personal begins to blur.
But every step toward the truth puts Victoria in greater danger. Because this killer doesn't just want revenge...
This time, he won't let Victoria escape alive.

Customer Reviews
The Devil you know
Enjoyed it but it needs editing, wrong use of the third person appears often.
Brilliant
Different to other hot books out there, definitely worth a read if you’re looking for a switch from the usual
It’s got emotions, a little thriller tension and good love scenes
Would have preferred the hot scenes to be longer or slightly more often but if anything it was a good balance between sexy and decent storyline which a lot of this genre can struggle with
Worth the buy in my opinion.
