The Doomsman

The Doomsman imagines the civilisation of 2015 New York as something like England in the early days of Saxon settlement — primitive people dwelling sparsely in patriarchal stockades, fighting and hunting with bow and arrow. Sutphen’s 1906 future is a ruin with a memory of skyscrapers. Romance and raid share the overgrown avenue.

This special edition has been created with accessibility in mind. It features a fully adjustable coloured overlay system designed to support readers with Irlen Syndrome, dyslexia, or visual stress. By reducing visual strain and allowing each reader to customise their experience, this edition makes Van Tassel Sutphen’s ruined narrative more comfortable and enjoyable to read.

Rediscover the post-city New York and neo-Saxon adventure of The Doomsman in a format thoughtfully crafted to be more inclusive for all readers.
