A lunatic is murdering Berlin mothers, abducting their children and challenging grieving fathers to locate their offspring before it’s too late. Now, an ex-cop and a blind psychic are one young boy’s only hope for survival. Translated into sharp English from the original German, this dark bestseller unfolds in reverse. Briskly paced and terrifying, The Eye Collector is an astute psychological thriller that does a brilliant job of depicting how those deprived of eyesight experience the world.

So so soo….
Well, Idea of the book is great and the writing is simple but the book could not reach for the best one.
Yes, there were couple really “chilly” moments but generaly it was too easy to figure out possible ending. It is generally good reading.
My third book by this author. They just keep getting better. Real page turner, again. Seriously, if you are thinking of maybe getting this book, get it! You won't be disappointed.

This book is an excellent example of crime writing. Though not a difficult read it is enthralling and complex layers create a marvellous cake of a book which will have you sleepless until you know the culmination of events that take place in this piece. Rarely have I felt the concern I did when reading this for the characters depicted. I highly recommend taking the time to read this book.
The door is left open for a sequel you'll be dying to read!
