The Falling Star Mystery

When Tom and Ricky see a falling star, they go to see where it landed, but someone else is looking for the falling star, too, and wants the boys out of his way.


Tom and Ricky are two fourteen-year-old boys. Together with their friends, and their dog Patches, they set out to solve mysteries in their small home town.

Each book in this easy-reading series is written using the 300 most common words in the English language, which consist of 80% of the words used in everyday speech. Each of the five mystery stories are meant to subtly reinforce common vocabulary through single plot stories that feature natural dialogue. They are ideal for use as reading practice for ages 9 and up.
