Publisher Description

I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at once.

Despite the tumour-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis.

But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

Insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw, The Fault in Our Stars brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

Absolutely beautiful

This is the first John Green book I have ever read and I am proud to say I became a nerd fighter about a month before this book came out. I got one chapter in and fell in love with it. I'll admit, I was slightly worried at first because I have read quite a few 'cancer books' before and I was afraid that this would fall in cliché, but he manages to pull it so far from cliché that you can no longer even think about cliché. It is now and forever will be, one of my favourite books of all time and I will visit back for a re-read whenever I find myself 'between books' as it were.

I was addicted to reading this book!

This was the kind of book that I would never normally read. I saw it in a book shop in Washington and I liked the cover of it. I decided to get it on my phone and once I started it I could not put it down. It only took me 3 hours to read it and it was the best book I have ever read I don't that I will ever read a book better than that! It is my favourite book and I will never forget it! It has taught me a lot about life and death and it has completely changed the way that I think about dying. I will never again be afraid about dying because I know that where there is death there is life and that is what I will stand by for the rest of my life, thanks to John Green. He is an amazing writer and I will never forget the story of this book and somehow it seems to have some kind of moral that I know is there but it is too complicated for me to understand. I recommend it to everyone there ever is and was!

The best book ever written in the English language. It is written beautifully with a vast amount of vocabulary that makes your mind wander.
