I didn’t like the hero in this story, I thought he was selfish, short-sighted, cruel and arrogantly grasping. I liked the heroine better but thought she was very weak-willed to take Phillip back without even an explanation. I much preferred the bunch of friends who surrounded the couple. Having said all that, the book was well written and I am sure that many readers will enjoy it.
