APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
We devoured The Four Streets, an intense family drama that’s reminiscent of Call the Midwife. The book follows two Irish working-class families in 1950s Liverpool: the Dohertys and the Deanes. In the face of death and betrayal, the two clans come together as one. All of Nadine Dorries’ characters are so intriguing—and many of the dramatic twists so shocking—that we cried out when we came to the last page because we didn’t want the story to end. Luckily, this riveting novel is the first book in a trilogy.
