What an amazing book this turned out to be. I didn't have high hopes considering the title but how wrong I was. The writing style is so vivid and the author weaves a tale that is told so beautifully and magically that you feel drawn into the magic . The characters of Lovern and Jahna I found to be so real and evoking so many emotions without being too descriptive. The way it all comes to a full circle in the end is magnificent . I loved reading this book and so glad I found it. I find that a sign of a great book is that you keep thinking about it long after you have finished it. And I certainly find myself doing that !

One of the best fictional, historical romances I have ever read. Kept me glued to the book since page one. I loved the transition of going back and forth from past to present and how they are related and brought together in the story. Have never seen this in a story before and it works really well. Love the fact that this story is about two romances one in ancient times and one modern. You can really tell the author knows a lot about the customs, beliefs, traditions back then and the descriptions of the scenery is absolutely wonderful really makes you feel like you are there with both of the characters. You cannot help to fall in love with all the characters. This book definitely has a place in my soul. Thank you Arlene for such a wonderful, breathtaking book.
