The Matrix/ Ender's Game meets The Hunger Games ...
What if, instead of traditional schools, children learned by participating in a virtual reality simulation, one that allowed them to experience, "life" from birth to death - multiple times?
What if one player,
on his final play,
could change the world forever...?

Brilliant, but flawed
Enjoyed the book, but dislike the cliffhanger ending. More authors are doing this to make you buy the next book. I will not do so, as there are 5 more books, each no doubt with its own cliffhanger.
A shame, as the concept, originality and style is of the highest quality.
I think the storyline was very creative and it was interesting to read, however, I could not get into it. Usually it takes me a few days to read a good book but this one took me almost two weeks to read! I could not connect with the characters and didn't like the writing style.
This book is incredible, literally. It has changed my life in the way Trew changed so many. I mean, what if we were in a game? What if this is, not just a book idea, not just a theory, but the truth? Everything is explained. Just... Wow.
Okay, I'm probably crazy and this is just another amazing book that I'm fangirling over. It just blew me away. And now I'm getting everyone to read it because I so highly recommend it. If your not sure about it; don't be, this book is amazing, just drop everything and read it!
