THE GDPR: APPOINTING A DATA PROTECTION OFFICER (DPO‪)‬

A key requirement of The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is that certain data controllers and data processors appoint a Data Protection Officer (DPO). A DPO is a person within an organisation (either an employee or external consultant) who has responsibility for ensuring that their organisation is compliant with the GDPR.
