The Greeks - by H D F Kitto
I read this book at school, and have re-read it in hard back several times. It is still brilliant. Concise. Well written. Interesting. I recommend it as a good easy introduction to classical Greece, and the foundation of our modern "democracy". Great that it is available as a download.
