Everyone is lying
But the dead know the truth
Ex-tarot reader Blue is untethered after the death of her vulnerable mother three years ago. In an attempt to confront her grief, and to begin to move on with her own life, she turns to Hope Marsh House. Molly and Joshua Park, the owners, offer a unique grief retreat and Blue commits to a week surrounded by others who understand.
But everything isn't as it seems. A storm is raging outside and one of the guests has disappeared without a trace. And now there seems to be no prospect of leaving.
Blue realises that everyone here has their secrets.
And one of them is a killer.

Spectacular!
Hooked from the very first paragraph!
Having been in survival mode for so many years, I’d taken to doom scrolling social media, every evening, every spare moment I had in my day, whilst navigating single working mum life. I couldn’t fathom reading for years because my mind wouldn’t let me, from all the endured trauma. I finally took the plunge to log off from the social media world and downloaded Apple Books. The Grief House took my fancy instantly by its title, having lived most of my life in grief. As soon as I read the first paragraph, I was hooked and found myself chapters deep in the first evening. I truly found myself watching this book play out as I was Bluebelle myself and envisioned every detail written, every emotion, every feeling. Rebecca Thorne, I thank you for reawakening my love for reading!
