Collin knows that The Offensive is after him. And he knows there's a girl out there. But he doesn't go looking for her. Not directly. Instead, he spends his life in a Rescue and Salvage ship, saving lives and finding lost items. On the lookout for an army of soldiers trying to capture him. He never thinks that army will come in the form of one woman.

Terra grew up knowing exactly who she was and exactly who should come to save her. Only, he doesn't. He rejects her, and that infuriates her, which only accelerates The Offensive's plan to destroy the both of them. One attempted assassination leads to another, and before she knows it she's enjoying herself. But will the boy she's sent to kill be her salvation after all? Will they both learn that they need the other for reasons far beyond their control?
