One of the many urban legends about Proctor Valley Road is that a portal to hell exists near the hanging tree. Some believe demons congregate by the tree during Halloween to attach themselves to thrill-seeking teenagers. Tommy Buckles is one of those teenagers who is now a true believer that demons exist on Proctor Valley Road. After the Halloween party, Tommy would tell you there is something by the hanging tree from the other side with a wicked Cheshire grin waiting to infect your one and only soul.
