The hang mans hold
Gripping from start to finish
Fabulously addictive
I have read all four books in this series in just under two weeks.....I just couldn’t put them down. Matilda Darke is troubled but an excellent detective. If you haven’t read these books then you should do.
Edge of your seat crime.
Compulsive reading
A well written book.
Even though I thought I knew how the story would pan out, I still kept reading ‘just one more’ chapter to see if I was right and, if so, how it would be discovered and the story would end.
I don’t want to give too much away but I was only partly right. I am left questioning why on earth would anyone want to join the police force. The story is borderline OTT at times but that didn’t stop me enjoying it immensely.
