A must read for entrepreneurs
I’d been a CEO for fifteen years before I read this book. I was having a particularly tricky year in 2015 where everything I seemed to touch in my business was going wrong and I was spilling my troubles to a CEO friend of mine over coffee. He said to me “Have you read The Hard Thing about Hard Things”. I hadn’t and I got the book the next day. It was a real help - I had been through many of the situations in the book and mostly had done what the author Ben recommended, but if I had had this book I would have probably executed a little earlier and with more confidence.
Technology management and life advice
Just a wonderful management book giving insight into the technology industry. Ben Horowitz has written a book from the trenches and free of cliche, the rap lyric quotes are an added bonus. I can't recommend it enough!!
