This was amazing!!🎀🎊🎀
The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom is a biography detailing the events of the holocaust for the watchmaker family in Holland. The small toon of Haarlem hosted the shop, where Caspar Ten Boom had been a watch repairer all his life. The first chapter begins in 1937, with a party celebrating Caspar's life. Corrie, her older sister, Betsie, and their father, Caspar, were devout Christian's. They began to notice the mistreatment of Jews in Holland, and so they began to work in the "Underground", helping Jewish families eat properly. This touching story is one that I believe every person should hear, as it tells of someone who would sacrifice themselves in the horrific Concentration Camps so that others can live. I would recommend it to anyone who would be willing to share a tear, and who loves history. I believe that anyone over the age of 10 should read Corrie's words, as then they would have enough understanding of the topic. This story would be a beacon of hope in anyone's life, young or old.
I hope you read this review and do read The Hiding Place.
