Outstanding book!
If you have read all the Spider Shepherd stories by Stephen Leather, then start on these, they are exceptionally good.

Chapter 3: “Stratton trusts Sumner…”

Idk, the writing style of this author isn’t really to my taste.
And weird inconsistencies as mentioned above. Earlier in the book the author mentions a boat leaning like a “Formula One racing bike”. Did he mean MotoGP?
