The Honourable Schoolboy
Excellent, riveting, complex story. How accurate is it to the work of the secret service is a question we must ask
Maybe I’m an idiot…
…but I found this book unreadable. I’ve enjoyed every book leading up to this , but this one is a garbled mess. I found myself reading paragraphs over and over again, trying to understand what I was reading and coming up short every time. I gave up early on. It was exhausting.
Fortunately this book isn’t required reading in the Smiley saga.
Not one of his best
Much too long and over detailed in areas that led to nothing in advancing the story. Was essentially 2 stories in one book and the two never really came together even at the end. Disappointing
