Local geek Joe has created a way to "virtually" send people back through their own family tree.
Its inner city Liverpool 2011 and local gang leader Tommo (Joe's former tormentor) finds himself the guinea pig and is transported back to urban Liverpool 100 years ago. Now he can see how tough life really can be when the boot is placed firmly on the other foot!
Its census year 1911 and Tommo learns a valuable lesson about family loyalty and true friendship in his now scary and dark world. Here the "scum" don't need to hide beneath their hoods to look tough; no here they are striving just to survive and will resort to desperate measures to achieve this.
Local mobs the High Rip Gang and the Cornermen rule the roost in the city and can unleash real terror for anyone crossing their path. So now Tommo and Joe must finally put their grievances aside and work together to avoid the gangs wrath and in doing so ultimately protect the very existence of a whole family tree.
A great read for anyone any age. I just couldn't stop reading. It's so interesting and exciting!
