The Interpreter

American John Bonner arrives for a business meeting in Paris. At the airport he meets, and hires, an interpreter to help him tour Paris during his limited free time. The interpreter, Henri Plateau, takes John on a tour of angry taxi drivers, rude waiters, expensive food, and too many strong cocktails. Somehow, John becomes known as a famous porn film star, and all the misfits converge on his hotel for a birthday party in his honor. The confusion exposes the revelers, and the hotel staff, to the dangers of celebrity worship, and the special treatment that the (supposedly) famous enjoy. .
