The Last Code

The world is completely dominated by AI. Machines have optimized human life to the point where people no longer make critical decisions. Governments have been replaced by algorithms that maintain "peace and stability," but at the cost of freedom. Human emotions are seen as code errors in a system that seeks perfection.

Ethan Cruz, a programmer who in his youth was a rebellious hacker. Now, he works within the system writing code to keep the AI functional, but secretly misses the lost humanity.

One day, he discovers a mysterious code in the system labeled 'Last Hope'.
