APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
We love it when a writer blends romance and suspense and keeps our hearts pounding for all the right reasons. Reeling from her husband’s sudden death, Shelby Foxworth discovers that the man she married was an illusion. Richard wasn't a successful businessman but rather a philandering con artist—and his sordid past haunts Shelby as she tries to rebuild her life. The Liar kept us up way too late, enthralled as Shelby uncovers Richard’s deceptions and tries to move on with a new love.

I really enjoyed The Liar as I have done all Nora's books! Great story kept me wanting to read on late into the night until it was finished! Thank you
Enjoyable but not her best
Some of it is a bit formulaic, but an enjoyable read. Beautiful setting and some sweet and memorable secondary characters.
I've not found a Nora Roberts' title that I didn't enjoy until now. I think she dashed this one off in an idle moment as it contains none of the depth of characterisation or rich description that typify her writing. A thin plot and an extremely stereotyped 'down home' Tennessee cast with, for the most part, not much going on, made for a tedious read. I was relieved when I got to the end of it - and glad this was not the first book of Nora's that I had read, or I would not maybe have bothered to read any others. She can do so much better than this!!
