This book tells his life story, from surviving bombing raids during the Second Wold War to growing up and becoming part of London's underworld. it chronicles his time in prison and how he turned his life around, recounting his time spent within the Diplomatic Corps, his experience as a lock-keeper on the River Stort, and finally his life as a successful company director in the licensed trade.
