The Little Miracle

In the final throes of labour Sara can do nothing when a pack of hungry Gokans descend upon Horza: their mountainside stronghold on the fringes of the Ghorran Mountains. Their only defense from the half-dragon half-human's is to get to the safety of the tunnels within the mountains. It is only when her babe is in her arms will Sara move yet the delivery has left her body slow and sore.

Having become accustomed to these attacks, she fears more for her baby than herself, yet something has changed and when she steps outside, a new terror crawled through her stomach.

Their mountainside homes are burning.
