The Magic Formula

The Magic Formula follows a close group of boys from childhood who decide to meet every ten years to renew their friendship. Gradually their numbers are reduced by death, and suddenly, as adults, they see that the realities of their lives are far bleaker than they are comfortable admitting to one another. As they share their individual stories, they come to realize that they all are victims, struggling and hurting. Each man is unable to deal with his problems, accepting the pain as normal. Into their lives comes a teacher with a mystical presence. He offers a precise summary of life through the exploration and explanation of their problems, and he offers a magic formula that dramatically can change them for the better. What they learn from this teacher launches them into a vastly new and powerfully transforming way of living happy, peaceful and fulfilling lives.
